Misters, start making these changes 3 months before you plan to conceive

Do you know that 1 out of 8 couples faces issues while trying to conceive? On average, a couple indulges in sexual activities nearly 75 times before getting pregnant. Why so many attempts? It takes about three months for both the sperm and egg to form and get matured. However, with a proper track of the ovulating period of your partner and certain lifestyle changes during the three months of sperm and egg development, you and your partner can hit the bull's eye before your 75th round.

Misters has listed down nine dietary and lifestyle changes that you should do a minimum of 3 months before your planned conceiving period. The best part of it? You don't have to do it all alone as it is both safe and advisable for your partner as well.

  • Have more water throughout the day. You must have atleast eight glasses of water every day. If you can hit 12 glasses, then it is excellent.
  • As you increase your water intake, curb down the consumption of caffeine. Reduce your intake of coffee, cold drinks, and other caffeinated products. Switch to herbal options like green tea to satisfy your cravings.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol or cigarettes. Make sure you don't do any form of passive smoking too.
  • Reduce your intake of processed food. Also, limit the usage of oil, butter, and cheese in your meals. Try to munch organic and raw food items.
  • Avoid having sugar or any kind of artificial sweeteners. You can replace your sugar and sugar substitutes with jaggery powder but in a limit.
  • Keep yourself active. Make sure you regularly exercise so that there is proper blood flow in your body and penis.
  • Replace all your chemical-based home care and self-care products with organic and non-toxic ones.
  • Cut down your exposure to radiation. Avoid using phones, laptops, and other blue light equipment as much as possible. Also, keep your phone at a distance while you sleep.
  • Please avoid using any form of lubricants as they contain harmful toxins that can damage sperm motility and count.

These small changes can significantly enhance your chances of conceiving.
