Not all that surprising, but definitely refreshing to read Madonna’s characteristically forthright comments on sex.

Specifically, that by no means does she consider she has had enough of it. There’s a lovely bit in the interview when she plucks a carrot (the venue is a farmyard) and raises it to the camera and suggestively asked whether it reminds the interviewer of something.

At 64, Madonna invoking what she has anyway stood for in the minds of those who grew up in the eighties or nineties, is a powerful reminder that desire does not have a sell-by age.

This writer likes Madonna, as perhaps you can tell, but now given this bit of candidness likes her even more!
