The mood of having sex is highly channelized by the internal as well as external factors. The right weather condition is also responsible to create sex hormones in our body which initializes sex drive. The normal human body temperature is 37 degrees Celsius, so it’s too hot if the external temperature is the same and anything below 5 to 6 degrees Celsius is considered too cold to perform any physical activity by the body.

So, what’s the right temperature? Anything between the above mentioned two extremes can drive our sexual mood. And thankfully, mother nature has all well planned with various seasons and weather conditions like spring and summer.

The reason, why spring and summer are sexually active weather treat?

Even though the summers in India are way hotter and more humid, sex is the most desirable thing among people here just like any other part of the world. There are biological reasons for craving the sweaty body.

Bright sunlight helps in creating Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone (MSH) in a woman’s body. This secretion of this hormone stimulates sexual desires.

In males, testosterone levels are considered to increase with the help of the vitamin D provided by the sunlight.

At the same time, serotonin, a feel-good natural neurotransmitter is produced in both men and women, more than usual which sends signals of wanting to have sex during a bright sunny day.

Some of the other reasons might be that people get a chance to visit places and stay together out of the regular hustle due to the holidays. They shed fats and get in good shape. This helps in spicing up the romance a bit among the couples.

Winters, aren’t you in the mood?

We generally have a perception in mind that winters are the best time to have sex, but it is not so.

Unlike summers that help in the secretion of serotonin, the feel-good hormones, melatonin is produced in the winters. This is the exact opposite of what drives sex in our body.

Rather, it makes the body lethargic due to the dark long nights. You no more want to just jump into the bed with your partner and have a great time. You don’t even have the feeling of it. You just have the mood to cuddle and sleep.

Some other factors that create a rather off-mood environment is sleep cravings, not wanting to work out and excessive eating.

Monsoon, on the other hand, has all the secret up its sleeves.

Unlike summers and winters, monsoon is just right for having the most pleasurable moments for you in the entire year. The weathers are too hot or too cold nor do the soft watery breeze affects you in a negative way.

Monsoon rather plays a psychological role in driving the urge for sex. It sets the perfect mood for wanting to sit together for long.

Weather forecast for tonight: maybe getting laid.
