Hair loss has scared the bejesus out of each one of us. We have all been there and done that. Here are four absolutely gorgeous honey concoctions that will aid as a remedy in hair loss and provide a newfound life to your hair.
#1. Banana and honey hair mask
Pre-requisites: a ripe banana or two (depending on the length of your hair) and half a cup honey.
Procedure- Smush up a banana. Use a food processor or blender to make a homogeneous paste of banana and add half a cup of honey to it. Apply the mixture onto your scalp and hair evenly and leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes. Wash off the mask with a mild shampoo.
Benefits: Bananas are a rich source of potassium, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin C that promotes healthy hair growth. It will add a shine to your hair, providing a lustre that you never saw before. Apply this mask once a week to notice a significant change.
#2. Yoghurt and honey hair mask
Pre-requisites: half a cup sour, acidic, yoghurt and half a cup honey.
Procedure- Whisk through half a cup of sour yoghurt to ensure no lumps—mix yoghurt with honey to form a pale yellow mixture. Apply the blend to every inch of your scalp and hair and let it stay for 15 to 20 minutes at least before washing it off.

#3. Aloe vera and honey hair mask
Pre-requisites: quarter cup of honey, freshly peeled aloe vera off of a stem or a quarter cup of aloe vera gel, 2 tbsp yoghurt and 1 tbsp olive oil.
Procedure: make a homogeneous mixture of honey, aloe vera gel, olive oil and yoghurt in a bowl. Mix well to avoid any lumps and apply the concoction on your head for 15 to 20 minutes.
Benefits: Aloe vera gives a cooling sensation to itchy or dry scalp, and this mixture strikes to balance the pH of the scalp, hence promoting hair growth.
#4. Coconut oil and honey hair mask
Pre-requisites: quarter cup organic coconut oil and a quarter cup of honey.
Procedure: thoroughly mix the coconut oil and honey to form a paste. Apply the mixture well from the root of the hair to the tip and let it rest for 20 to 30 minutes.
Benefits: Coconut oil nourishes the hair and has antioxidant properties that will eradicate hair loss.
